19. A Wreath of Cloud / A Rack of Cloud(薄雲)

"Across the sunset hill there hangs a wreath of cloud that garbs the evening as with the dark folds of a mourner’s dress."
A poem written by Genji when Fujitsubo died. Everything he saw was filled with sorrow.
Summary
Lady Akashi entrusts her daughter (Princess Akashi) to Genji. On the day of parting, mother sees daughter off in tears. Lady Murasaki is affectionate with Princess Akashi.
After that, Fujitsubo died at the young age of 37, and Genji was filled with sorrow. The emperor knows That his real father was Genji, not the previous emperor.

The sadness of parting with a loved one. It is inevitable in life. So it is touch our heart.
