Passage

"An altered and a lonely woman to this my native village I return. But still unchanged the wind blows music through the trees."

A poem by Lady Akashi's mother.

Mother and daughter moved from Akashi to the suburbs of Kyoto. What hasn't changed is the sound of zithern and the wind blowing between the pines.
