Suetsumuhana refuses to sell her father's belongings. her old-fashioned sence, and stubborn disposition. It becomes virtue in this chapter.
Summary
After Genji left Kyoto, Suetsumuhana's life became difficult. Her mansion fell into disrepair, and her servants left.
Genji returned to Kyoto and prospered. he remembers her.He goes to Suetsumuhana's mansion. The mansion was in ruins and overgrown with grass. But she was there. Genji maintains her mansion and guarantees her life.
Comment
Suetsumuhana is a princess who doesn't have a beauty and amiability. But she kept waiting for Genji. Her hopes were rewarded , she got happiness. This is also a Cinderella story.
